Reviewing somebody else’s code is a difficult task. You need to approach it efficiently while keeping in mind that you’re a professional with responsibilities not only toward the project but toward your peers as well.

As a team overall, reviewing each other is a great flow to follow. But sometimes it could be quite difficult to focus on the code as a business goal (aka product) and not just idealizing personal desires against the nature of the beauty of it.

Why Do We All Need PR Reviews

Code reviews are an essential part of the software development process. They help in ensuring that the code is of high quality, free from errors, and meets the required standards.

It provides an opportunity for team members to learn from each other’s code and share best practices. They also help in identifying potential issues early on, which saves time and resources.

The main reason is to promote collaboration, accountability, and transparency among team members.
